The Daterra Immersive Experience was designed to meet the increasing demand for hosting visitors, partners, friends, and colleagues, especially during harvest season, with a unique value: we believe that sharing a journey in a group offers a more enriching perspective than a solo or private trip.

By setting the Immersive Experience apart from a typical farm visit, we offer a deep dive into our innovative processes and our commitment to building a more responsible and sustainable coffee community.

The program

The Daterra Immersive Experience provides a comprehensive look into the complexities of a specialty coffee farm. Here's why it goes beyond a simple "farm visit."

1. Technical & Educational Focus

Daterra is more like an open research laboratory than a conventional farm. This approach helps you see how our history and scale support our sustainability efforts and the processing you will experience throughout the week.

 

2. The "Farm to Cup" Cycle

Coffee takes time. A four-day stay lets you observe the entire process: from seedling to harvest, processing, drying, and from the labs to cupping.

3. Can I come for only part of the week?

Unfortunately, you can't. We highly recommend selecting a different date to ensure you can fully enjoy the entire program. Since there will be one ongoing visit, adding another group for only part of the week would create logistical challenges and gaps in your learning experience.

We're excited to have you with us for this special experience at our farm.

Logistics & Transportation

We will take care of you while you're here with us. We’ve arranged a shuttle between Uberlândia Airport (UDI) and the farm, and on the way back. Please see the logistics below for your arrival and departure. Review these times carefully when booking your flights to ensure you can join the group transport. 

Arrival: Monday

  • Meeting Point: Uberlândia Airport (UDI).

  • Pick-up Time: All guests will be picked up at 11:30 AM sharp.

  • Travel Time: Approximately 3 hours from the airport to the farm.

  • Important: If your flight arrives after 11:30 AM, we strongly recommend that you arrive a day earlier. If that is not possible, we suggest coming on a different date.

Return: Thursday

  • Shuttle Departure: The shuttle departs from the fram at 3:00 PM.

  • Airport Drop-off: Expected arrival at Uberlândia Airport is around 6:00 PM.

  • Flight Booking: Please ensure your return flight is scheduled for after 7:30 PM to allow enough time for check-in and security.

If you're arriving by plane, the best airport to reach the farm is in Uberlândia.

You don't need to worry about transportation from the airport to Daterra, it's on us.
